Kathryn Newton, known for her role in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, is set to join the cast of Radio Silence’s sequel to the 2019 cult hit Ready or Not, which grossed nearly $58 million globally. This marks her second collaboration with Radio Silence following last year’s Universal horror film, Abigail.
Kathryn Newton joins returning star Samara Weaving in the sequel directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. The original Ready or Not writers, Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy, are also back for this exciting follow-up.
The first film followed a young bride (Weaving) as she joined her new husband’s (Mark O’Brien) rich, eccentric family (Adam Brody, Henry Czerny, Andie MacDowell) in a time-honored tradition that turned into a lethal game with everyone fighting for their survival.

Kathryn Newton first gained recognition for her role as Louise Brooks in the multi-Emmy-winning HBO series Big Little Lies. She later starred in Freaky and has notable credits in Lisa Frankenstein, the Oscar-winning The Society, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, and Blockers.
