A24 has revealed the first trailer for its new comedy, Dicks: The Musical, starring Megan Mullally and Megan Thee Stallion. It’s Megan Thee Stallion’s first film role after TV roles on “Good Girls” and “She-Hulk: Attorney At Law”.
Directed by Larry Charles and written by stars Aaron Jackson and Josh Sharp. “Dicks: The Musical” also stars Nathan Lane and Bowen Yang. As for Yang, the “Saturday Night Live” cast member plays God in the film.
A24 will debut Charles’ Dicks: The Musical in select US theaters starting on September 29th, 2023 this fall.
About Dicks: The Musical: Two business adversaries realize they’re identical twin brothers decide to switch places to reunite their divorced parents so they all can become an actual family again.
Dicks: The Musical, formerly known as F***ing Identical Twins, is directed by comedian, writer, filmmaker Larry Charles, director of the films Borat, Religulous, Bruno, The Dictator, and Army of One previously, as well as TV work including many episodes of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “Larry Charles’ Dangerous World of Comedy” most recently.
The screenplay is written by Aaron Jackson & Josh Sharp. It’s produced by Kori Adelson, Peter Chernin, Jeffrey Pinto-Lobo, Jenno Topping.
