A24 released the first trailer for their upcoming psychological drama God’s Creatures, from directing duo Saela Davis and Anna Rose Holmer. The movie stars Emily Watson, Paul Mescal, and Aisling Franciosi.

Official synopsis: In a windswept fishing village, a mother is torn between protecting her beloved son and her own sense of right and wrong. A lie she tells for him rips apart their family and close-knit community in this tense, sweepingly emotional epic.

God’s Creatures premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on 19 May 2022 and set to drop in theaters on September 30.
