Reptile stars Benicio Del Toro as the detective Tom Nichols; he also executive-produced and co-wrote the screenplay. The cast also features Justin Timberlake, Eric Bogosian, Alicia Silverstone, Domenick Lombardozzi, Frances Fisher, Ato Essandoh, Michael Carmen Pitt, Karl Glusman, & Matilda Lutz. Reptile will be available in select theaters on Sept. 22 and will debut on Netflix on Sept. 29. The film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
Following the brutal murder of a young real estate agent, a hardened New England detective (Benicio Del Toro) attempts to uncover the truth in a case where nothing is as it seems, and by doing so dismantles the illusions in his own life.
Reptile is directed by filmmaker Grant Singer, making his feature directorial debut with this after the doc, Shawn Mendes: In Wonder.
