The upcoming season of “Black Mirror” features the first-ever sequel for “USS Callister,” with several cast members reprising their roles from the season four space epic, as teased in the trailer. Bill Magnussen, Cristin Milioti, Jimmi Simpson, Milanka Brooks, and Osy Ikhile return for the follow-up to the Emmy-winning episode. Additionally, Rashida Jones, who wrote the season three social media takedown “Nosedive,” steps in front of the camera this time.
The new cast announcements also bring more returning stars. Will Poulter and Asim Chaudhry, who previously appeared in “Black Mirror’s” standalone interactive film “Bandersnatch,” are back. This choose-your-own-adventure movie, released in 2019, was Netflix’s first interactive offering for adults and marked the streamer’s entry into live-action programming.
