‘Do Revenge’ Cast and Character Guide

‘Do Revenge’ Cast and Character Guide

There’s nothing scarier than a teenage girl — especially the two at the center of the dark comedy Do Revenge, starring Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke. After a clandestine run-in, Drea (alpha fallen it girl) and Eleanor (beta new alt girl) team up to go after each other’s tormentors. Do Revenge is a subverted Hitchcockian dark comedy featuring the scariest protagonists of all: teenage girls.

Meet the cast of Do Revenge:

Camila Mendes

Camila Mendes plays Rosehill Country Day’s It Girl Drea Torres. When we meet her, she has the perfect life, perfect friends and the perfect boyfriend, Max Broussard. But that all crumbles when an intimate video is leaked to the entire school and she has to rebuild her life one revenge at a time, with the help of her new friend Eleanor. Mendes currently stars as Veronica Lodge on Riverdale and can soon be seen in Upgraded opposite Shadow & Bone star, Archie Renaux. You also might have seen her in Dangerous LiesThe Perfect Date, FairfaxPalm SpringsCoyote Lake and The New Romantic. She also appeared in music videos for The Chainsmokers (“Side Effects”) and Maggie Rogers (“Give a Little”).

Maya Hawke

Maya Hawke as Eleanor Levetan

Maya Hawke plays Eleanor Levetan, who has her own cross to bear when she encounters Drea. Her summer camp bully, Carissa Jones (Ava Capri), started a nasty rumor about her and made Eleanor seem like a sexual predator to all their campmates. And surprise… she goes to Rosehill! So, “doing revenge” seems like the only practical solution, right? If you’re a Stranger Things fan, then you’ve come to know and love Robin Buckley since Season 3, when she spent her summer scooping ice cream beside Steve Harrington at Starcourt Mall. But you may have also seen her in the series Little Women (as Jo March), The Good Lord Bird and The Last Movie Stars or the films Fear Street: Part One — 1994, Once Upon a Time… in HollywoodHuman CapitalMainstream and Italian Studies. She is set to play Jamie Bernstein in the upcoming film, Maestro. In addition to acting, Hawke (the daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke) releases her own music and is currently on tour ahead of the release of her second album, Moss. Catch her gigs at Hollywood Forever Cemetery if you can!

Austin Abrams

Austin Abrams as Max Broussard

Everything you need to know about “fake woke misogynist hypocrite” Max Broussard can be gleaned from him starting a club at Rosehill in Drea’s honor: “The cis hetero men championing female-identifying students league.” No joke! Drea’s ex, he remains the school golden boy after the sex tape she sent him is mysteriously leaked. But we can all read between the gross lines. Austin Abrams lit up the Christmas lights in the holiday-themed series Dash & Lily, but you may also know him from series like EuphoriaThis Is UsThe AmericansSMILF, and The Walking Dead and films including Scary Stories to Tell in the DarkDudeYoungestChemical HeartsPuzzleTragedy GirlsWe Don’t Belong HerePaper TownsThe Kings of SummerGangster Squad and Brad’s Status.

Rish Shah

Russ Dara is the alt-boy to impress at Rosehill. He rocks blue hair, wears a leather jacket and rides a motorcycle. He’s buds with Carissa, but he’s definitely got his own vibe that might intrigue our Queen Bee. Rish Shah most recently burst onto the superhero scene as Kamran in Ms. Marvel. But you also know him from the movies To All the Boys: Always and Forever, and India Sweets and Spices and series including Emmerdale FarmCasualtyDoctors and Years and Years.

Talia Ryder

Gabbi is one of the first people Eleanor meets when she arrives at Rosehill, and may we say, the chemistry was charged. But just wait till Eleanor finds out her last name. Most recently, Talia Ryder starred as a “poster child for modern relationships” in Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between, but you may recognize her from her performances in the films MasterWest Side Story and Never Rarely Sometimes Always. She also was featured in Olivia Rodrigo’s music video for “deja vu.”

Ava Capri

Ava Capri as Carissa Jones

Drea once called Carissa Jones a “human Birkenstock.” And it’s a moniker that Carissa won’t soon forget. The keeper of the school garden, Carissa is stunned to see Eleanor when she first arrives on campus, and she has absolutely no clue about the revenge Eleanor and Drea have planned for her. Ava Capri just closed out the final season of Love, Victor as Lucy. She was also in the films When Time Got LouderEmbattledThe Experience, Blast Beat, and Write When You Get Work and the series T@gged. You might have also spotted Capri in the Wallows music video “Are You Bored Yet?” Up next, Capri is set to star in Little Rituals.

Elliot is Max’s right hand with a striking sense of flair for how to wear his school tie. Jonathan Daviss currently stars as the Pogues’ “brains of the operation” Pope Heyward on Outer Banks. He also appeared in the films Shattered Memories, Age of Summer, Edge of the World and Deliverance Creek.

Along with Elliot, Max and formerly Drea, Montana is part of the most elite clique at Rosehill. Maia Reficco is presently on the run from “A” as Noa Olivar in Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, but she also starred as the eponymous musical prodigy Kally in the series Kally’s Mashup. Reficco has also taken her musical talents off-screen — check out her latest single, “Rápido y Furioso.” Reficco currently has a few films in the works, including One Fast Move with Riverdale’s KJ Apa and A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow with Heartstopper’s Kit Connor.

Alisha Boe

Once Drea is ousted, Tara takes her place beside Max as the rulers of their Rosehill dominion of Elliot, Montana and Meghan. No one said teenage girls played nice — or fair. Alisha Boe is best known for portraying Jessica Davis on 13 Reasons Why. She was also in the films Yes, God, YesWhen You Finish Saving the WorldGates of DarknessPoms68 Kill; and Paranormal Activity 4 (the first Tara she played, BTW). Sophie Turner

Sophie Turner as Erica Norman

Erica is your typical spoiled rich girl enjoying the fruits of her family lineage like playing tennis at the country club. But she will rue the day she ever met Drea, who’ll ruin her summer vacation. The North remembers. And you, too, would go to war for the Queen in the North, aka Sophie Turner’s Game of Thrones counterpart, Sansa Stark. Most recently, Turner appeared in The StaircaseSurviveBroken Soldier and voiced Princess Charlotte in the series The Prince. She also played superhero Jean Grey (or Phoenix, if you want to split hairs) in X-Men: Apocalypse and X-Men: Dark Phoenix. You may have also seen her in the films HeavyTime FreakJosieBarely LethalThe Thirteenth Tale and Another Me. She’s also been featured in music videos for the Jonas Brothers (“Sucker” and “What a Man Gotta Do”) and Bastille (“Oblivion”).

Eliza Bennett

Eliza Bennett as Jessica

It’s been said that gossip spreads like a plague. And Jessica is maybe a bit hesitant to talk about Drea’s leaked sex tape. But just a bit. Also, in proper high school girl form, she follows Erica (Sophie Turner), parroting her in order to fit in. Eliza Bennett is familiar with the Jennifer Kaytin Robinson universe, having played Jules Thomas in the series Sweet/Vicious. Bennett also appeared on TV screens in series such as DynastyThe ConnersThis Is UsGrantchesterStrike BackValentine’s Kiss and Broadchurch. But you might have first seen her as Tora in the beloved family film Nanny McPhee. Since then, she’s appeared in films like ConfineFPerfect LifeFrom Time to Time and Inkheart.
