Netflix has dropped the first trailer for Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, officially marking the return of Daniel Craig as the super sleuth with a southern drawl Benoit Blanc.
Following the widespread success of Johnson’s first mystery in Knives Out, the follow-up departs from Detective Benoit Blanc as he heads out to the Mediterranean private island of tech billionaire Miles Bron (Edward Norton) to “peel back the layers of intrigue” in a new mystery. After a party involving Bron’s friends ends up with someone dead, Blanc must put his detective skills to the test once more to find the culprit among a colorful new cast of characters that includes a YouTube sensation, a fashionista, and a senate hopeful among others.
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery will premiere in select theaters on a to-be-announced date and globally on Netflix Dec. 23. And before that, it’ll have its global premiere on Sep. 10 at the Toronto International Film Festival.
