Hulu’s Huluween Line-Up Includes the Streaming Debuts of Highly-Anticipated Titles Including “American Horror Stories,” “The Boogeyman,” “No One Will Save You,” “The Mill,” and many others
Disney+’s Hallowstream Celebrates the Season with the Streaming Premieres of the hit film, Disney’s “Haunted Mansion,” and Marvel Studios’ “Werewolf by Night in Color,” the 30th Anniversaries of “Hocus Pocus” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” the 25th Anniversary of “Halloweentown,” “The Simpsons” Treehouse of Horror Collection, and more beloved family favorites
Disney+ and Hulu subscribers are in for the greatest treat this Halloween season with the return of fan-favorite Huluween and Hallowstream celebrations and content premieres. Over the next several weeks, viewers looking for every level of scare (including the not-so-scary) will be able to stream highly-anticipated new titles like Disney’s “Haunted Mansion,” “The Boogeyman,” “American Horror Stories,” “Appendage,” “The Mill,” Marvel Studios’ “Werewolf by Night in Color,” and beloved classics like “Hocus Pocus,” “The Omen,” “The Craft,” and more as they get in the spirit of the season.
The streaming platforms debuted trailers today for several of these including “Goosebumps,” which will premiere on Disney+ and Hulu on Friday, October 13, “Mickey and Friends Trick or Treats,” streaming on Disney+ and Hulu on Monday, October 2, and “Appendage,” streaming on Hulu on Monday, October 2.
Now in its sixth year, Huluween has become the go-to destination for Halloween content, whether viewers are looking for a scream-worthy binge, or a less terrifying watch party with friends and family. This year, the Huluween library will be packed with new titles throughout the month ranging from the new animated “Fright Krewe” series, to frightful films “Appendage” and “The Mill,” to real-life horror story “Monster Inside: America’s Most Extreme Haunted House.”
Disney+ celebrates its fourth annual “Hallowstream” this year, and it promises to be more chilling than ever. The Halloween Collection on Disney+ will offer highly-anticipated new releases like the streaming debut of the hit film Disney’s “Haunted Mansion,” on October 4, and Marvel Studios’ “Werewolf by Night in Color” on October 20, as well as perennial Halloween classics including the 30th-anniversary celebrations of “Hocus Pocus” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” the 25th-anniversary celebration of “Halloweentown.” Disney+ subscribers can also stream last year’s breakout hit Original movie “Hocus Pocus 2,” the complete “The Simpsons” Treehouse of Horror Collection, the “Dancing with the Stars: Halloween Episode” on October 31st, and more. In American Horror Story: Delicate, after multiple failed attempts of IVF, actress Anna Victoria Alcott wants nothing more than to start a family. As the buzz around her recent film grows, she fears that something may be targeting her – and her pursuit of motherhood. American Horror Story: Delicate is the 12th installment of the award-winning anthology series created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. Crazy Fun Park tells the story of two best friends, Chester and Mapplethorpe, so close that even death can’t keep them apart. After Mapplethorpe is killed at an abandoned theme park, Chester discovers that his friend’s soul has stuck around, along with the ghosts of other teenagers who have died at the fun park since 1979.
Leprechaun 30th Anniversary Film Collection – October 1, Hulu
This year marks the 30th Anniversary of the debut of the cult-classic film Leprechaun. Professor Joyce Reardon (Nancy Travis) and her boyfriend, Steve Rimbauer (Matt Keeslar) lead a group of psychics in an attempt to prove the existence of paranormal phenomena in a house owned by Rimbauer’s family, known as Rose Red, before it is to be sold to developers. In this new Halloween stop-motion special, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Daisy are trick-or-treating when Donald spies the spookiest mansion he’s ever seen and assumes it has the best treats. After he convinces his friends to risk a visit, the owner, Witch Hazel, casts a spell that turns them into their costumes. The special features new original music from Emmy Award-nominated songwriter Beau Black (“The Lion Guard”). Haunted Mansion (2023) – October 4, Disney+
The hit film inspired by the classic theme park attraction, “Haunted Mansion” is about a woman and her son who enlist a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid their home of supernatural squatters. The film’s producers are Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, with Nick Reynolds and Tom Peitzman serving as executive producers.
The Boogeyman (2023) – October 5, Hulu
From the mind of best-selling author Stephen King comes “The Boogeyman.” High school student Sadie Harper and her younger sister Sawyer are reeling from the recent death of their mother and aren’t getting much support from their father, Will, a therapist who is dealing with his own pain. Monster Inside: America’s Most Extreme Haunted House (2023) (Hulu Original) – October 12, Hulu
What would it be like to be trapped in a real-life horror movie? “Monster Inside: America’s Most Extreme Haunted House” (produced by Lion Television US, executive produced by Allison Corn, Stan Hsue, and Andrew Renzi, who also directed) follows the story of Russ McKamey, the Navy Veteran turned master of horror, who lures horror enthusiasts into his web. They find themselves pulled into the no-holds-barred world of McKamey Manor – a haunt that doesn’t end until Russ says so. By cultivating an online persona and a cult-like following, Russ was allowed to display his basest instincts and rewarded with online fame and notoriety. Driven by his personal fixations, he turned his backyard haunt into a bona fide torture chamber: videotaping “contestants,” particularly vulnerable young women, as he sees how far he can push them – both inside and outside of the haunt. Merging documentary storytelling with the visual and cinematic language of a horror film, “Monster Inside” follows three participants as they dive deep into Russ’s world and then find the will to fight back.

Goosebumps, the chilling new series inspired by R.L. Stine’s worldwide bestselling books, follows a group of five high schoolers as they embark on a shadowy and twisted journey to investigate the tragic passing three decades earlier of a teen named Harold Biddle – while unearthing dark secrets from their parents’ past.
