Isabela Merced will be playing the role of Dina in the second season of HBO’s “The Last of Us.” Dina is a patrolman and member of the Jackson community who becomes Ellie’s love interest after breaking up with her boyfriend, Jesse. Dina is more than just a love interest; she brings a new dimension to Ellie’s life and serves as a moral counterweight, exploring the cost of revenge and the power of empathy.
Merced is known for her roles in “Dora and the Lost City of Gold,” “Transformers: The Last Knight,” and “Madame Web.” She will also star as Hawkgirl in James Gunn’s “Superman”.
