Actor Jamie Dornan attended the premiere of Focus Features’ “Belfast” at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on November 8, 2021.
Dornan stars in Kenneth Branagh’s semi-autobiographical, black-and-white film about a young boy growing up in Northern Ireland during unrest in the Sixties. In the film, Dornan plays a father trying to protect his family from violence that erupts in Belfast as the city is rocked by The Troubles.

The Irish actor teamed up again with “Belfast” director Kenneth Branagh for his latest project, “A Haunting in Venice.” Branagh’s third Agatha Christie adaptation promises to be another star-studded affair, with an international cast including Michelle Yeoh, Tina Fey, Camille Cottin, and Riccardo Scamarcio.
