Read on to learn about the returning and new characters in Through My Window: Across the Sea, which begins streaming June 23 on Netflix.

Clara Galle as Raquel Mendoza

Clara Galle

Pining for her real-life boyfriend, Raquel’s completed a draft of a novel titled Through My Window, featuring a torrid romance between — you guessed it — two teenage neighbors. But in her first year at university, she’s not exactly focused on her own talents. She gets called out on the regular for texting during class — by a teacher who reluctantly praises her writing, even urging Raquel to send her manuscript to the professor’s publisher friend.

Clara Huete Sánchez, known professionally as Clara Galle, is a model and actor who has had a recurring role in the series The Boarding School: Las Cumbres.

Julio Peña Fernández as Ares Hidalgo

Ares apparently isn’t having such a hot time either. He spends his first year of med school in Stockholm homesick, lovesick, permanently attached to his phone and questioning his life choices. Prompted by impulse and desire, he decides he must see Raquel in person.

Also known as Julio Peña, Peña Fernández has had recurring roles in the series Berlin and Bia.

Natalia Azahara as Daniela

Raquel’s best friend is having an affair with one of Ares’ brothers. (Those Hidalgos sure get around.) Daniela is also terribly protective of Raquel, and rushes to find their mutual best friend Yoshi when she hears word of Ares’ return — obviously, this is a major friend emergency.

In addition to the Through My Window films, Azahara appears in Estación Rocafort.

Guillermo Lasheras as Yoshi

Boyfriends come and go, but friends are forever, Yoshi tells Raquel. When Daniela rushes to tell him the news of Ares’ return, pink-haired Yoshi cracks a joke but quickly turns serious: He and Daniela must drop everything and make sure Raquel is OK. But it becomes evident that his plan to intervene is motivated by far more than loyalty — clearly, Yoshi’s crushing hard.

Actor, singer and dancer Lasheras has appeared in the series Les de l’Hoquei, White Lines and If I Hadn’t Met You.

Eric Masip as Artemis

Ares’ older brother is proud and hotheaded and a less than shining role model for how to treat women. He’s having an affair with Claudia, who’s working as a house cleaner for the family; they’ve known each other since they were kids. Still, he insists on keeping their relationship a secret.

Masip’s film and television credits include Amar en Tiempos Revueltos and Little Tito and the Aliens.

Emilia Lazo as Claudia

Claudia grew up alongside the Hidalgos, and now her connections to the family are, well, complicated. She’s employed as their house cleaner, and she’s tired of hiding the fact that she and Artemis are having a relationship. A talented and independent woman, she makes it clear that she deserves better.

Lazo is one-half of the Spanish musical duo Emilia y Pablo. She made her film debut in the original Through My Window.

Hugo Arbués as Apolo

The youngest Hidalgo doesn’t seem to be taking after Artemis when it comes to relationships. Sweet and shy, he lets his girlfriend Daniela show him the ropes.

Arbués, whose full name is Hugo Arbués Martin, began acting professionally when he was just 3 years old. More recently, his credits include roles in The Warning, The Ministry of Time and the series Madres. Amor y Vida.

Andrea Chaparro as Vera

And just who is the young woman who turns up all of a sudden after Raquel and Ares finish up a romantic swim in the sea? Cool and confident, Vera is one of Ares’ classmates in Stockholm and sure seems to know him awfully well… perhaps a little too well.

The daughter of Mexican comedian and actor Omar Chaparro, Chaparro is a singer, model and actor who’s been featured in the Netflix titles Have a Nice Day, Rebelde and The House of Flowers.
