Upcoming science-fiction romantic comedy film ‘Poor Things’ has shared the first official poster!
Poor Things is directed by Yorgos Lanthimos from a screenplay by Tony McNamara, based on the 1992 novel of the same name by Alasdair Gray. It follows a young woman who, after being resurrected by an unorthodox scientist, lives a life free of the prejudices of her time.
Emma Stone (who also serves as producer) leads an ensemble cast that includes Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe, Ramy Youssef, Jerrod Carmichael, Christopher Abbott, Margaret Qualley, and Kathryn Hunter.
Poor Things is scheduled to be theatrically released on September 8, 2023 by Searchlight Pictures.
