Relativity today revealed the official trailer and poster for its new action comedy, Freelance, starring John Cena and Alison Brie. Relativity Media debuts Freelance in theaters exclusively on October 6th, 2023.
Synopsis: An ex special forces operative stuck in a dead-end desk job (Cena) reluctantly takes on a gig to provide private security for a washed-up journalist (Brie) as she interviews a ruthless—but impeccably dressed—dictator (Raba). When a military coup breaks out just as she is about to get the scoop of a lifetime, the unlikely trio must figure out how to survive the jungle, the assassins, and each other in order to make it out alive.
Freelance is directed by French action filmmaker Pierre Morel, director of the movies District B13, Taken, From Paris with Love, The Gunman, Peppermint, and The Ambush previously.
