Today at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London, Cillian Murphy and the cast of ‘Oppenheimer’ joined director Christopher Nolan to promote their upcoming movie, which will premiere on July 21.
Attendees at the star-studded event included Murphy alongside co-stars Florence Pugh, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr, Kenneth Branagh and Josh Hartnett.
Directed and written by Nolan, Oppenheimer is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and the late Martin J. Sherwin. Murphy stars as the physicist, considered the father of the atomic bomb. The film also stars Florence Pugh, Rami Malek, Josh Peck and David Dastmalchian, among others.
The film will have New York premiere screenings before Universal launches it in theaters globally July 21.
