Written by

Amazon Prime Video announced Friday that “The Summer I Turned Pretty” will conclude with its previously announced third season, which will debut in July. This decision aligns with the series’ adaptation of Jenny Han’s book trilogy, with each season mirroring a book. The 11-episode final season will bring the story to a close. The series premiered in 2022, with Season 2 in 2023.

Season Three of The Summer I Turned Pretty is led by showrunners Jenny Han and Sarah Kucserka. Han, Kucserka, and Karen Rosenfelt serve as executive producers, along with Paul Lee, Hope Hartman, and Mads Hansen for wiip. The series is a co-production of Amazon Studios and wiip.

Lola Tung leads the cast alongside fellow castmembers including Jackie Chung, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Rachel Blanchard, Sean Kaufman, Rain Spencer, and more.

Jenny Han, the No. 1 New York Times bestselling author of “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” and “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” has seen her books published in over 30 languages. She’s also a prolific creator and executive producer for Prime Video’s “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” Netflix’s “XO, Kitty,” and the global hit “To All the Boys” film trilogy. Han lives in Brooklyn, New York.
