Tina Fey will star in The Four Seasons, a new series adaptation of the 1981 rom-com The Four Seasons. The series is created by Fey and her 30 Rock collaborators — Tracey Wigfield (Great News) and Lang Fisher (Never Have I Ever).
Netflix has ordered eight episodes of the series, produced by Universal Television and will begin filming later in 2024.
The comedy dream team of Fey, Fisher, and Wigfield first worked together on the final season of 30 Rock. Each has subsequently launched a hit series — Fey’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt ran for four seasons and an interactive movie, while Season 3 of Girls5eva (created by Meredith Scardino and produced by Fey) debuts on Netflix in March; Fisher’s Never Have I Ever ended last year after four seasons on Netflix; and Wigfield’s Great News and Saved By the Bell both ran for multiple seasons.
The Four Seasons is executive produced by Fey, Fisher, Wigfield, David Miner, Eric Gurian, and Jeff Richmond. Alda and Marissa Bregman will produce.
