IFC Films has revealed the trailer and poster for an indie thriller, What Comes Around, which initially premiered at the 2022 Toronto Film Festival last year. “What Comes Around” debuts in theaters on August 4, 2023. You can watch the trailer below.
The story follows a teen girl who meets an older man online. She hides the relationship from her parents and friends, but eventually, she’s forced to reckon with her choice of partner when he shows up on her front doorstep. As you might expect, her parents are not excited to see a mysterious older man attempt to seduce their young daughter.
The cast includes Grace Van Dien, Summer Phoenix, Jesse Garcia, and Kyle Gallner. Van Dien is probably best known for her role in the series, “Stranger Things,” on Netflix. Garcia recently had a hit with a starring role in “Flamin’ Hot.” “What Comes Around” is directed by Amy Redford.
